About this Piece:
I’ve always felt an inexplicable pull towards the ocean, finding solace and security in its vast, open waters—a sanctuary where others might see the unknown. This profound connection inspired my latest creation, "Trusting the Journey," a painting that captures a serene yet powerful scene of a girl guided by a majestic sea creature across the deep sea.
 
While crafting this piece, it was as if the calm of the ocean flowed through my brush, bringing with it a sea creature that seemed to come alive from the canvas. This creature felt like a spirit guide making itself known to me, manifesting to remind me of the constant, unseen support that guides us through the highs and lows of life.
 
"Trusting the Journey" was born from a moment of gratitude for all the blessings in my life, serving as a visual meditation on how we're divinely supported, even when we least realize it. This painting is a tribute to everyone who, like me, finds a deep, comforting connection to the sea. It’s a reminder to trust in the flow of life, acknowledging that like the tides, our paths are influenced by forces seen and unseen.
